Accipitriformes :

This Order includes most of the diurnal birds of prey such as hawks, eagles, vultures etc. About 225 species are under this Order. Earlier most scientists were of the view that these birds should be included along with Falcons in Falconiformes , but in 2008 a DNA study showed that falcons are not closely related to the Accipitriformes. Falcons they found were more closely related to parrots and passerines.
